On January 20th, when Donald Trump is sworn in as president, there will protesters with signs and people marching in opposition to our newly elected president. But some others are planning “direct action” activism that will leave Washington D.C. in “total paralysis,” according to an organizer of activists and anarchists who plan to create chaos across the capitol city in an attempt to disrupt the inauguration and mobilize people in the growing movement against Trump.
They don’t want it to be peaceful, they want it their way. From Vocative
“We’re not just organizing some boring-ass march,” one of the organizers, Legba Carrefour, told Vocativ. “We want direct action.”
The goal, he said, is to simply create a disruption and “build on an evolving movement.”

If you can’t make it to Washington, DC on January 20, take to the streets wherever you are. We call on our comrades to organize demonstrations and other actions for the night of January 20. There is also a call for a general strike to take place. Organize a walkout at your school now. Workers: call out sick and take the day off. No work, no school, no shopping, no housework. #DisruptJ20
Across social media, liberal activists are calling for “no peaceful transition.” Sounds like violence to me.
