PHOTO: He Wasn’t There…BUT…White House Tweets Picture Of Obama As a Pearl Harbor Tribute!
The day that will live in inmfamy…December 7th, marked the 75th anniversary of the lethal surprise attack on the U.S. naval base in Pearl Harbor, Hawaii, by the Imperial Japanese navy, an event that brought a reluctant America into World War II.
Obama was not in Hawaii for the memorial celebration, but released a statement to commemorate the moment, according to CNN — along with, as usual for such moments — a picture of himself.
He pointed out that more than 2,400 American men, women and children had perished as a direct result of that terrible attack, but pointed out how their patriotic sacrifice had prompted millions more American men and women to answer the call and defend our liberty and freedom in a variety of ways.
Inlieu of taking part in the traditional wreath-laying ceremony at the Pearl Harbor memorial, Obama instead posted a picture to Twitter from a prior visit to the commemorative site, taken four years ago, featuring himself laying a wreath at the memorial.

The President is planning to visit the actual site and pay his respects later this month in a historic visit accompanied by Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe, according to the Los Angeles Times.
Speaking of the picture that Obama tweeted of his prior appearance at the Pearl Harbor memorial, it has been pointed out by some that rather than focus on the rapidly diminishing number of surviving veterans of that fateful day, it instead prominently featured himself, like many other pictures Obama has posted in “honor” of a great person or historic event.
Seems a bit self-centered, but what else should be expected from our narcissist in chief?
