We’ve all been in a rush to get somewhere, and then it happens! You see the blue lights, and your stomach sinks. You think…’damn, I’ll never make it now’. Well, that happened to this guy, but he gets a huge surprise…. Check it out!
When rushing to get to a class presentation, the last thing a college student needs is to be pulled over by a police officer.
But for one University of Wisconsin-Stout student, getting pulled over came at the exact right time.
According to the Menomonie Police Department, Officer Martin Folczyk pulled over Trevor Keeney for speeding on November 30 and soon realized the student did not know how to tie his necktie for his upcoming presentation.“I have to get a tie tied. I have a presentation and I thought my buddy was home but he’s not, and I’m running behind,” Keeney said as his reason for speeding.
“I have to get a tie tied. I have a presentation and I thought my buddy was home but he’s not, and I’m running behind,” Keeney said as his reason for speeding.
Dash cam footage shows the officer asking for Keeney’s tie and making a proper knot before handing it back.
“While I do this, why don’t you grab your proof of insurance and your driver’s license real quick,” Officer Folczyk said. “Probably not the best knot, but it will work.”
Kenney was given a verbal warning and was later invited to headquarters by the police chief to receive a lesson in tying his tie. For what it’s worth, he received an A on his class presentation.
Ya know…some cops are all about helping make the world a better place, not just weilding their authority. Kudos to this police officer for helping a young man out. I’ve actually had my share of meetings with great cops too.
