CRACKER BARREL Being CHARGED By The ‘Politically Correct Police’?
Here’s another story of political correctness going off the rails
Over the past few years, the Obama administration and the liberal media have done everything they can to argue that racism is still an issue that exists at large among white Americans.
Because of this, we’ve seen companies throughout the country give in to pressures to be politically correct, no matter how ridiculous or petty the charges against them.
There is no better example of this than a recent petition that was filed by Ryan Koch from Des Moines, IA.
Koch recently launched a petition that demands that the restaurant Cracker Barrel change their name to Caucasian Barrel. You heard that right.
According to Political Insider, the petition reads:
I say all of us European Americans start protesting C****er Barrel. It uses an offensive slur and it is deeply offensive and mocks our long and proud heritage.
The name is offensive, their logo stereotypes European Americans as people who sit on chairs and lean against what appears to be a bourbon barrel, claiming we are all a bunch of alcoholics. Sure, they’ll SAY it’s a “cracker” barrel but everyone knows crackers don’t come in barrels, they come in bags and boxes!
Change the name C****er Barrel to Caucasian Barrel. After all, white people should have something to be offended by, too!
This is crazy!! Doesn’t anyone remember the barrels in grocery stores where food products were shipped stored & used in displays? Guess not. Whiskey came in barrels, so did crackers. Hang onto your name. Tell me the name of one person who would be offended.
Progressives have been successful at changing words to “single definitions” such as gay can’t mean anything except homosexual; and now, “cracker” can only mean, caucasion,” and Obama changed the word, “commerce,” to mean, “forced purchases and purchases made willingly.” We don’t care what their feelings are any longer in thinking of “cracker,” only as, “Georgia Cracker.” Cracker Barrel is legal to print and say, because we like thinking of a barrel of crackers as a hardened salty bread sitting on a kitchen table in a wooden vessel called a barrel. Next, Progressives will say Barrel is offense to Monkeys as in, “Barrel of Monkeys.”
