Former TV star Rosie O’Donnell has always been a fierce opponent against President Donald Trump. The two have had barbed words for each other for years: O’Donnell has called into question President Trump’s mental stability and even labeled him as sadistic.
A new report from her daughter, however, suggests that it may be O’Donnell’s character that we should be questioning.
Chelsea O’Donnell said recently in an interview with the U.K. Daily Mail that her mother went on a drunken rampage after finding out that Chelsea had gotten a tattoo. Rosie O’Donnell even went so far as to threaten her teenage daughter.
According to the interview, Rosie then locked her 17-year-old daughter up and tried to rip her clothes off to see the tattoo. The scuffle led to a chase around the house while Rosie threatened to hit her daughter with a wine bottle.
During the debacle, which reportedly took place “pretty late at night”, Chelsea said Rosie told her that she could hill her.
“A couple of week prior,” Chelsea said, “I had gotten a tattoo. [My mother] had spyware on my phone so she could see pretty much everything I did.”
The rather innocuous tattoo, which read “Breathe” on the girl’s side, drove her mother to violence and outrage as she threatened her with the wine bottle and tried to remove her clothes.
“She told me if I didn’t show her, if I tried to leave,” Chelsea continued, “she would hit me with the wine bottle, call the police and tell them that I attacked her.”
“She kept trying to run after me,” Chelsea added. As she chased her daughter, Rosie reportedly said that she could kill Chelsea “if she really wanted to,” because “she’s that strong.”
The teenager reportedly considered contacting the police but worried that her mother’s celebrity status would lead authorities to question Chelsea’s claims.
Rosie nevertheless has held nothing back in her attacks against the president, criticizing even his youngest children despite her track record as an invasive and abusive mother.
