The UN Just Made Its Move… Issues “Concrete Measures” Order to US Authorities.
A United Nations Committee in charge of combating racism worldwide issued an “early warning” for the United States, claiming an increase in “alarming racism” trends.
Anastasia Crickley, chairwoman of U.N. Committee on the Elimination of Racial Discrimination (CERD), igave a statement Tuesday in order to respond to the violence that happened in Charlottesville, Virginia, Aug. 12 in the midst of a white nationalist rally.
“We are alarmed by the racist demonstrations, with overtly racist slogans, chants and salutes by white nationalists, neo-Nazis, and the Ku Klux Klan, promoting white supremacy and inciting racial discrimination and hatred,” Crickley said.
Just notice how one-sided that statement was. Did she mention Black Lives Matter? Nope. Did she mention the terrorist group Antifa? Nope. That is a disgrace.
According to Stock Board Asset, an early warning from the UN is uncommon and has only been issued in the past right before civil conflicts.
The warning has been given just a few times in the past 10 years, when it came for countries like Burundi, Iraq, Ivory Coast, Kyrgyzstan and Nigeria.
“In a decision issued under its ‘early warning and urgent action’ procedure, the Committee, which monitors implementation of the International Convention on the Elimination of All Forms of Racial Discrimination, stated ‘there should be no place in the world for racist white supremacist ideas or any similar ideologies that reject the core human rights principles of human dignity and equality,’” Crickley said.
She went on to say: “In addition to the criminal investigation of the individual who ploughed his car into a crowd of peaceful protesters killing a woman, the UN experts asked the US authorities to undertake concrete measures “to address the root causes of the proliferation of such racist manifestations.”
The early warning given by the UN isn’t just rare, it reflects talking points from liberals that President Trump has not fully condemned white nationalists and neo-Nazis.
Trump has been bullied by the mainstream media for supposedly not sufficiently condemning white nationalists and the KKK even though he has given a slew of statements ever since the tragic events, beginning with the day they happened.
Trump also denounced these hate groups Aug. 14 in an announcement from the White House, specifically mentioning the hate groups.
“Racism is evil. And those who cause violence in its name are criminals and thugs, including the KKK, neo-Nazis, white supremacists and other hate groups that are repugnant to everything we hold dear as Americans,” Trump said.
As Trump made extremely clear after the Charlottesville tragedy, Americans need to come first. If the mainstream media and liberals would stop trying to tear our country in half, we could unite as one nation.
For an organization as corrupt and ineffective as the United Nations to start condeming the United States, which has done more to destroy racism than any country on earth, is beyond hypocritical.
It could certainly be the first step toward an assault on the liberties Americans value most — like freedom of speech.
