President Trump Silences Reporters With These 7 Words About Irma

Alongside first lady Melania Trump, the president emerged from the White House to issue a statement on the current situation with Hurricane Irma and how the government is responding to the ever-changing needs, as well as discussing their plans of action.

Besides saying that he has plans to visit and assess the damage on site “very soon”, President Trump also went on to congratulate the first responders and praise the Coast Guard for doing an amazing job during the devastating storm.

“A group that really deserves tremendous credit is the United States Coast Guard,” Trump said, standing next to first lady Melania Trump. “What they’ve done, I mean, they’re going right into that, and you never know. When you go in there, you don’t know if you’re going to come out”, said Trump.

The most intriguing part of the statement was, however, the seven words that Donald Trump uttered, which silenced all reporters and echoed across the nation when being asked about the cost of the Hurricane and the damages:

“RIGHT NOW, WE ARE WORRIED ABOUT LIVES, NOT COST.”
